The house
Your holiday home in
Saint-Pierre-les-Étieux

A traditional 150 m² Berry farmhouse, tastefully restored with respect for the soul of the place. Lime-rendered walls, wooden shutters, a terracotta-tiled roof — outside, everything is authentic. Inside, oak beams and dark flooring meet a bright, contemporary interior: a spacious open-plan kitchen, colourful designer chairs, bathrooms in warm terracotta tones.

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. A large open living and kitchen area with induction hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Free wifi. Outside: a generous terrace beneath the weeping willow, with barbecue and views over the meadows. Private parking on site.

Personal welcome.
After booking, you’ll receive our digital welcome guide with everything you need: directions to the house, the weather forecast for your stay, the full list of what’s in the gîte, and an interactive map of sights, restaurants and activities in the area. All in one place, accessible on your phone.

The hidden heart of France
The Berry, in the Cher department (Centre-Val de Loire), sits at the geographical heart of France. A region that’s remained off the tourist trail — and kept what’s disappearing elsewhere: quiet, space, ancient oak forests, and villages where time stands still.

From the gîte you explore a landscape of hedgerows, meadows and small hamlets. Perfect for slowing down — or, as the locals say,
tazonner: taking your time.

Domaine 1791
Part of something bigger

The gîte is part of Domaine des Chênes, linked to Domaine 1791 — an estate undergoing full transformation, two kilometres away, on a hilltop with sweeping views across the Berry. Surrounded by an oak forest and a working farm with Parthenaise cattle and rare sheep breeds.

From 2028, Domaine 1791 opens its doors: eight suites, contemporary art, table d’hôtes dining, and space for groups and weddings. The village gîte gives you an early taste.
